Summary
Pokémon GO Has announced its next major event that will commence in September 2025. The new event, which has been titled 'Tales of Transformation', shall begin next week, on September 2nd, 2025. This is going to be one of the long Pokémon GO events that will conclude on December 2nd, 2025. Pokémon GO announced the arrival of many new Pokémon that will receive mega evolutions and Gigantamax forms in this event. Along with it, the developers also announced the official dates of community days and more.

Pokémon GO Wild Area returns
One of the trusted leakers in the Pokémon GO community took to their socials to announce the arrival of a new Pokémon in the returning GO Wild Area. The leaker, @LeekDuck, posted the information about the new Pokémon that is set to appear in the GO Wild Area on his official X (formerly Twitter). Pokémon Go Wild Area is an unexplored territory that houses some of the best species of Pokémon.
@LeekDuck disclosed the information on August 27th, 2025 at 1:58 AM UTC. The tweet revealed a new in-person event that will take place in Nagasaki, Japan. The rumoured dates for the event are between November 7th and 9th. The Global version will receive the same event between November 15th and 16th. The leaks suggest that the event will also debut a new Pokémon called Impidimp.
The leaker also announced the debut of two new Pokémon in the GO Wild area on August 28th, 2025. The new tweet surprised the entire GO community as the leaked Pokémon are amongst the fan-favourites.
