Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation: Everything We Know So Far!

Before the season wraps up with notable events like Sunkissed Shores and Mega Gyarados Raid Day, we already have a hint of what is to come.

Pokémon GO recently dropped the very first teaser of the new season, known as Tales of Transformation. They made the Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation announcement on their official X.

Having a first look at the event announcement, we can say that the game is set to introduce some popular variants of Pokémon.

It hasn't been long since Pokémon GO introduced a new Pokémon in the game in the form of Snom and Honedge evolutionary lines. It seems like Pokémon GO is keeping up that momentum with the Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation season.

Week-long speculation in the gaming community is finally over, as the fans now have an idea as to what they can expect from the Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation season from the first look.

Looking at how the Delightful Days season has panned out, it is safe to say that Pokémon GO gave the perfect send-off of the season with the Max Finale event. From giving the gaming community the chance to enjoy the Crowned variants of Sword and Shield Legendaries, Zacian and Zamazenta, Pokémon GO wrapped it up with the perfect introduction of Eternatus. Moreover, we saw Pokémon GO make massive strides in terms of Dynamax and Gigantamax battles throughout the season.

While it was tough to follow up such a great season, after the teaser from @PokemonGoApp, it seems like they might just be able to do that.

The announcement came with a video that showcased a spotlight on a Poké Stop which had the silhouette of Metagross and Eevee, along with their variants.

It is obvious that the gaming community had a positive reaction to it, given how popular both Metagross and Eevee are.

@jsmit5635 and others showed their excitement for Mega Metagross as they already have a max hundo ready for it.

It was all celebrations among the gaming community, given that Mega Metagross will be a great option to have for PVE battles.

While the Steel/Psychic Pokémon is a much-awaited Pokémon, it shares the spotlight with Gigantamax Eevee and Resolute form Keldeo, both of whom are popular in their own right.

New Pokémon in Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation

As of right now, the Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation season is expected to begin on 2nd September, 2025, and finish on 2nd December, 2025.

As we mentioned before, the new Pokémon from the Pokémon GO Tales of Transformation event are Mega Metagross, Gigantamax Eevee, and Resolute From Keldeo.

However, these are most certainly not all.

There is no doubt that Tales of Transformation seems to be an exciting season. Given it spans over October, you can expect a lot, as the game's one of the best events, the Halloween event, falls under the season, along with the first half of the Winter Holiday event.

In addition to these, there have been a lot of rumors on Pokémon GO that the game is supposed to introduce many ninth-generation Pokémon like Pecharunt, Ogerpon, and Terapagos.

Dondozo has already been introduced in the Sunkissed Shores event. Therefore, you can expect many new introductions in the Tales of Transformation season as the game looks forward to building on its new approach that sits very well with the gaming community.
