Firearm Updates: Assault Rifles and Shotguns Nerfed

There is a boatload of changes under the firearms umbrella. Firstly, the damage of rifles and assault rifles decreases gradually with the distance from the target. It ensures a realistic experience, given that bullet damage is less with lower velocity. In addition, how fast the bullet will hit the target is also adjusted based on the distance.

Each truck has a different route, and players can obtain weapons and other items from it as the truck drops special crates in the street as it drives by.

Rightfully, the new name of the place is Boatyard. As of now, it seems like the drop will have the same loot as the other places of the classic map. As the update rolls in, the name of the place is also changed on the map.

Another update came in the form of the introduction of berries in Erangel. So far, we have seen the feature in Livik. In Livik, players could consume these berries to earn a quick boost. The feature is now live in Erangel.

In random places of the map, the players will be able to collect an advanced firearm voucher. With these vouchers, the players can buy an advanced firearm pack from the shop. These pack grants you special weapons like Groza and others.

After you are recalled by your teammate, when you land on the map, you will receive a respawn pack voucher. Similar to the advanced firearm voucher, players can use the respawn pack voucher to buy a special pack from the shop, through which they will get a special gun.

Experience Improvements: Crosshair, Gun Reload and More

Improved aiming ensures your crosshair position is more precise when you are firing from the hip. Moreover, players can now adjust how their crosshair looks in the game settings. From the default aim to the circle, there are many options from which players can choose. In addition to the crosshair type, players can now customise the colour of the crosshair.

There are also updated mechanics of weapon reloading. Instead of seeing the reload progress at the very bottom of the screen, players can take a look at it on the active weapon slot they are using. This makes it easy to track the weapon reload. Most of the time, understanding how much you have used your magazine is a guesswork among the players. After the PUBG Mobile 4.1 update, players will be able to know their magazine just by the sound of firing. As the magazine starts to have fewer bullets, there will be a significant change in the firing sound. Please note that this feature is not the default.
