PUBG Mobile 4.4 Update Official Release Date

PUBG Mobile has three different versions. First is the global version, the most-played variant of the title, followed by the PUBG Mobile Korean and Vietnamese versions, which are exclusive to their respective regions. The new update will be rolled out simultaneously on all three game variants.

The official PUBG Mobile 4.4 update release date for global is May 12, 2026. The update will arrive a day earlier in the PUBG Mobile Korean version on May 11, 2026. The Vietnamese version will be available on the day of the global release.

The PUBG Mobile 4.4 update brings a new theme called Hero's Crown. The theme is inspired by ancient Greek mythology. The theme will give a new appearance to the maps Erangel and Livik. The theme will have a new floating Island called Crown Adobe. It will be a hot drop for players to get more eliminations and fight the final boss for S-tier loot.

Trail of Courage

The PUBG Mobile Hero's Crown theme will include 'Trial of Courage'. PUBG Mobile Trial of Courage are the revamped cities in the map of Erangel where players will light 'Sacred Fire' to initiate the new PvE environment, defeat the enemies to get loot and tactical items. The four Trials and their locations are:

Spartan Trial: Gatka, School, Mylta Power
Achilles Trial: Georgpool, Pochinki, Sosnovka Military Base.
Icarus Trial: Zharki, Stalber, Lipovka, Farm, Quarry
Prometheus Trial: Ruins, Ferry Per, Mylta and Yasnaya Polyana

Defeating the PvE enemies in the different Trials of Courage will help players acquire tactical items. Items like Golden Shoes, Flags and more will give you boosts on movement, decrease area damage.

New Vehicles and Weapons

You will get new vehicles to ride with the new PUBG Mobile 4.4 update. There will be roadsters, fire horse chariots, Centaur Warrior and more joining the battlefield. The Rondo-specific SMG JS9 will be available on all the maps after the version update. Anti-tank weapon, Panzerfaust, will also be available in Erangel and Livik after this update.
