The 2025 competitive season of PUBG Mobile eSports shall end with the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025. PMGC 2025 shall feature the best teams and layers from across the globe. This is the sixth edition of PMGC, and it is set to be hosted in Thailand. From a new competitive map to a recall system and revamped format, PMGC 2025 is going to be the first of its kind.

PMGC 2025 is gearing up to bring together the top esports teams from around the world. Over the last five years, there have been four different champions. While Chinese squads have mostly ruled the tournament, other regions have stepped up, and now with Indian teams back in the mix, PMGC 2025 is shaping up to have one of the toughest PUBG Mobile competitions we've seen in a while. PMGC 2025: Format

PMGC 2025 has totally revamped the format of the competition from its earlier editions. The new format shall see the tournament unfold in 4 stages: Gauntlet Stage, Group Stage, Last Chance and Grand Finals. In addition, Rondo has replaced Sanhok as the third map in competitive PUBG Mobile eSports. This new map shall also bring the recall system into the competitive scene.
The introduction of a recall system in competitive esports shall require the teams to come up with new strategies to maximise their kill count. Teams will be able to recall the finished players till the 4th circle. The complete details of the PMGC 2025 format are given below:

PMGC 2025: Schedule

PMGC 2025 will commence on November 24th, 2025, and it will run for a month. The tournament will crown its champions on December 14th, 2025. The prize pool of the event is yet to be announced. Here is the detailed breakdown of the schedule of each stage in PMGC 2025:

PMGC 2025: Teams

PMGC 2025 is set to feature 40 teams from all over the world. These teams have qualified in two distinct stages: the Gauntlet stage with 16 teams and the Group Stage with 24 teams. Right now, 20 slots for PMGC are locked in, but the rest will be filled after the qualification rounds are finished by the end of October 2025.
