Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 Comes to Apple Arcade This February

Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 is coming soon to Apple Arcade. As one of the greatest strategy games ever created, this popular simulation title will be available to play on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac on February 5 through Apple Arcade.

Players are in charge of a civilisation from the beginning of time until outer space, moving from the Stone Age to the Space Age. Each civilisation has its own leaders, special abilities, and personality traits, meaning each civilisation has its own unique play style.

Players can choose from many civilisations, including the American, Egyptian, Mongolian, and Zulu civilisations. Each offers a different style of play with many strategic options. Players can choose to build their empire through war, diplomacy, technology, or culture before they leave a legacy.

Sid Meier's Civilisation 6 on Apple Arcade captures the same feel and mechanics as the PC version with an easy-to-use mobile interface.

There is touch and mouse/tablet controller support for Mac, creating uncomplicated gameplay. Players will be able to create cities, research, and wipe out the competition on the go. There is no multiplayer or downloadable content for this version, but the game will support large map sizes on devices with more than 8GB of RAM.

Apple Arcade Brings More Games in February

With the addition of Sid Meier's Civilization 6 Apple Arcade on February 5, Apple will be releasing three new games. At the same time, Apple will be launching Retrocade, an updated version of classic arcade titles, including Asteroids, Galaga, and Bubble Bobble, now playable on a VR headset (the Apple Vision Pro).

Felicity’s Door: A Rhythm Adventure Journey Through a Magical World and I Love Hue Too+ will also provide a brilliant experience for the puzzle-fan crowd. These additions expand Apple Arcade’s library of over 200 ad-free games, available for $6.99 per month or as part of Apple One bundles.
