The Blood of Dawnwalker 60 fps patch was previously unconfirmed by the developers. When the game's launch campaign started, it was revealed that the PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X versions will feature only two different graphical settings: Quality (30 fps) and Balanced (40 fps) modes.

A few days ago, when GOG pre-orders started, many in the community voiced their concern about the absence of a 60 fps mode on console. Many claimed they canceled their pre-orders after learning about the lack of The Blood of Dawnwalker PS5 60 fps support, especially on the PS5 Pro. Most AAA games of this generation typically do have a 60 fps performance mode since day 1 of release.

On August 24, 2026, Rebel Wolves finally listened to the community feedback and decided to include The Blood of Dawnwalker 60fps update as a day 1 patch. Here is a list of settings that PS5/PS5 Pro/Xbox Series X users will get to experience in the game:

• Balanced: 40 fps
• Performance: 60 fps

Unfortunately, The Blood of Dawnwalker Xbox 60 fps support won't apply to the Series S. The developers said the 60 fps performance mode was under development. They chose not to reveal it, as there were doubts about whether they could include it at launch.

How to Activate Blood of Dawnwalker 60 FPS Patch?

To run The Blood of Dawnwalker 60 fps patch, you must download the first update. This should happen automatically when you install the game. Additionally, you must activate Performance Mode from the console settings by following these steps:
