Forza Horizon 6 Goes To Japan

Probably, the biggest highlight of the Tokyo Game Show would be the announcement of Forza Horizon 6, which was revealed that the game will be launching globally in 2026. The edition of the series will be traveling to Japan. Developers also gave us a small sneak peek at the game teaser, which showcased cars drifting through cherry blossom lanes and alongside iconic Japanese landmarks like Mount Fuji. Ninja Gaiden 4 Brings New Difficulty Option

Team Ninja and PlatinumGames have unveiled Ninja Gaiden 4, and although they discussed adding new difficulty options to customize the game experience, they did not reveal any specifics. The new training mode allows players to practice skills or advanced techniques in a standalone mode rather than on the fly when in a harder conflict. Pre-order options unlock in-game exclusive items, such as the special Yakumo skin only available by pre-ordering, as well as a Deluxe Edition that acts as its own product with extra playable cosmetics and future content. Age of Mythology: Heavenly Spear Offers Fresh Look

Heavenly Spear is the next expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold. It takes place in Japan and allows players to take on the role of Yasuko, the daughter of a farmer who comes across a magical spear associated with the sun goddess, Amaterasu. Yasuko works to prevent a warlord from taking the relic that could grant him godlike powers. The expansion features new gods, monsters, and powers, and contains a story campaign made up of 12 missions. Heavenly Spear launches on September 30, across Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. Fans who purchased the Premium Edition will receive Heavenly Spear at launch.

Microsoft Flight Simulator: World Update 20 (Japan)

At Tokyo Game Show 2025 announcements, Flight simulator enthusiasts received a real bonus with World Update 20: Japan for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The update is free and adds more than 23 new areas, adding over 20,000 square kilometers to explore. Players can now fly over cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, and Hiroshima. There are even five handcrafted airports and 67 points of interest, including landmarks such as the Osaka Castle and the Fukuoka Tower. Players will find that there is a new aircraft, the NAMC YS-11, available for purchase in the simulator.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Brings Japan Maps

Activision presented new multiplayer maps with a Japanese theme for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The “Toshin” map brings a futuristic version of Tokyo to life, featuring a cat café, a karaoke bar, and a wrecked train. The “Den” map takes players to the countryside, where a Japanese castle has been featured. The game launches on November 14, while Early Access Beta will launch on October 2 and Open Beta to follow on October 5.
