Popular UFC 5 gamer/streamer @NazUFC shared the leak on X (formerly Twitter). The creator shared the post at 10:00 pm EST/EDT on April 7. In his post, Naz claimed the game was already listed by several reliable retailers for pre-order in the Philippines and Malaysia.

In the same post, Naz claimed something similar had happened before with the game's current version, UFC 5. According to him, some stores listed the game early, and the announcement came about a week later. The creator seemed confident that history would repeat itself and the game could be released within the next 10 days.
