VALORANT Act 2 Brings Back Two Classic Maps to Ranked

Summary
The VALORANT Act 2 Map Rotation for Season 26 is bringing a noticeable shake-up to the ranked experience. Riot Games has confirmed that two popular maps are leaving the competitive pool. Two other fan-favourite maps are returning with the launch of Patch 12.05. Map rotations are a regular part of VALORANT’s seasonal updates. Riot maintains a fixed seven-map competitive pool, and this update is no different.
VALORANT Act 2 Competitive Map Rotation Changes

With the release of Act 2, VALORANT will be making some changes to its competitive map rotation.
Maps leaving the competitive pool:
- Abyss
- Corrode
Maps returning to the competitive pool:
- Fracture
- Lotus
Both Abyss and Corrode were part of the previous rotation, but Riot has now removed them from ranked. Their exit opens the door for Fracture and Lotus to return to competitive play.
These changes apply to Competitive, Premier, and other ranked modes once the new act goes live. All maps removed from the competitive map rotation will no longer be playable using ranked matchmaking. Players will still be able to play those maps using unranked, custom and other casual game modes.
