How to Uninstall Valorant in 2025: All Methods & Common Issues

Because of it, it gained millions of players and fans worldwide. However, sometimes players want to know how to completely uninstall Valorant because of many issues, like storage issues, technical problems, or simply because they want a break from playing.

The main problem arises while uninstalling, as it might seem simple, but due to its anti-cheat software (Riot Vanguard) and system integration, the process can sometimes be confusing, as it protects the system from being uninstalled. Using Control Panel

1. First, you need to click on the Windows key, which you will find on your keyboard, and type “Control Panel” in the search bar.

2. Now, open the Control Panel from the search results, which will be given somewhere on top.

3. In Control Panel, click on Programs and then select the Programs and Features option.

4. You will see a list of installed applications. Start scrolling the list until you find the Valorant application.

5. Now, you have to click on Valorant and then click the Uninstall button at the top.

6. After all this, you have to follow the on-screen instructions and end the uninstallation process.

7. After that, locate Riot Vanguard in the same list and uninstall it as well.

Using Windows Settings

1. Press the "Windows key + I" on your keyboard at the same time. This will directly open the Windows Settings window, which is the central place to manage how your computer works, including apps and programs.
