While the content has remained the same for the most part, a massive new partnership was revealed in the release notes. The latest VALORANT Patch Notes 12.07 have revealed an upcoming partnership between Riot Games and Discord. In the ‘Social Updates’ section of their official statement, the developers claimed VALORANT and Discord were working together to make getting into your next game with friends easier. Players can even link their social accounts to unlock new features.

Discord VALORANT Partnership Features

• The new partnership will let you invite friends in Discord straight to your party, directly within the game. Players do not need to ‘ALT-TAB’ their way out.
• You can copy the link and share it directly on your server. They can also be shared anywhere your friends are.
• Players can also check which of their friends play VALORANT and can queue faster together.

Cosmetics:

• Several scope reticles were changed to make them more consistent.
• Skins including Kuronami Marshal, EX.O Marshal, Nocturnum Marshal, Araxys Outlaw, and Operator have been updated.

Store:

• Gifting ineligibility screen extends the screen's width.
• Clipping issues at the purchase confirmation step when buying a gun buddy have been fixed.
• The header text coloring on the purchase confirmation screen has been resolved.
• The bundle detail buttons' inconsistencies were fixed.
• A darkened spray issue when previewing in the purchase flow was fixed.
• Bundle carousels' heights are now consistent across all purchase flow points.
• The feared bundle tile icon, while owned, is removed.
• Discoloration of the offer tile when gifting a flex was fixed.
• Performance issues with a large friends list were fixed.
