Riot Just Hit Pause on the Colombian Initiator Due To His Signature Ability Exploit

In a recent turn of unfortunate events, Tejo has been temporarily removed from the Agent pool for an uncertain amount of time. One of the recent X posts from the Riot developers on March 25, 2026, notified everyone that Valorant Tejo disabled from all game modes. The reason the developers made this decision is based entirely on a recent exploit that surfaced online.

The exploit allowed gamers to use more of the Colombian's signature ability, Guided Salvo, than the developers intended. What Exploit Led Riot Developers to Disable Tejo in Valorant Temporarily

The primary reason was that a few players were able to exploit Tejo's Guided Salvo glitch. It enabled them to use three signature abilities instead of two, which is the standard. Practically, the Riot devs have made the Agent in such a way that players can only fire two guided missiles and curve them towards certain locations. A recent X post from a Portuguese content creator, @billyvlr, however, caught everyone's attention, showcasing how everyone can use three Guided Salvos by moving out of the initial range of his pad. Thanks to the creator's post, Riot made an easy decision to disable the Agent from the game until the Valorant Tejo bug is fixed. That extra guided missile certainly provided the Initiator main players with an extra bit of advantage during matches. It could potentially break the economy of the opponent in a single round. When Can Players Access Tejo in Valorant?

As of now, players can get their hands on the following Initiators: KAY/O, Fade, Sova, Breach, Gekko, and Skye. Riot Games hasn't announced any official date confirming the return of Tejo in the Valorant Agent pool. If you've been following the Valo scene closely, this isn't a new phenomenon. Earlier, Reyna was disabled for a certain time due to her Overheal ability exploit.
