In Where Winds Meet, breaking the law actually has consequences. Once you’re in prison, you’re stuck there until your Detention Time runs out. This timer counts down in real time, so depending on the crime, it can last for several hours or even a few days.
There is a way to reduce that time, though. While in jail, you can choose to take part in the Pardon Parade. It’s basically a public walk of shame. You’re taken through a small area while everyone can see your crimes, and a crowd follows you around, throwing rotten food. The parade only lasts a few minutes, and it helps lower your jail timer.

Just like the Pardon Parade, several more additions could be coming in the Where Winds Meet 1.2 update soon.

How to Start a Pardon Parade in Where Winds Meet?

Once you’re sentenced and sent to jail, you can start a Where Winds Meet Pardon Parade straight from your screen. Just look at the top-right corner and select the Pardon Parade option. Click the icon, then choose “Go to Parade", and your very own walk of shame will begin.
When the parade ends, you’ll be pulled off the cart and sent back to prison. The good news is that one full hour is taken off your Detention Timer. If your sentence is long, you can repeat the Pardon Parade multiple times to reduce it even further. Just remember, it only counts if you manually start the parade; otherwise, your jail time won’t go down.
