Best Sonata Effect sets for Chisa

Chisa has few options for the Sonata sets that she can run, but in the end, it all comes down to you and your playstyle. Although her recommended role in the game is Support, you can always build her in your own personal way, but it will affect her utility and so on.

According to her role, these are the sets that she can run:

  • 3 Piece Thread of Severed Fate + 2- Piece Midnight Veil
  • 5-Piece Rejuvenating Glow

These two sets can be used along with Chisa's Support role.

3 Piece Thread of Severed Fate + 2- Piece Midnight Veil

The Thread of Severed Fate is the new Sonata Effect, which got introduced in version 2.8 of Wuthering Waves, and its effects perfectly align with Chisa's kit. With this set, she gains 20% ATK boost and 30% Resonance Liberation DMG boost for a period of 5 seconds. Whole for the remaining two pieces go for Midnight Veil, which will provide her with a 10% Havoc DMG bonus. If you are confused about how this compares to other options, checking a Wuthering Waves Tier List can help you understand how well Chisa performs in the current meta.

  • Cost 1: ATK%
  • Cost 1:ATK%
  • Sub-stat: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK%

5-Piece Rejuvenating Glow

This is an old set but still very effective. This set is mostly used by dedicated healers, as it provides a 10% Healing Bonus but also provides party-wide buffs which boost the squad's ATK stats when they receive healing.

This build will only be effective if you are planning to use her as a dedicated healer, but we would advise sticking to the Severed Fate set. Otherwise, you will lose a lot on her utility.

Main Echo for Chisa in Wuthering Waves 2.8

The main Echo for your Wuthering Waves 2.8 Chisa Build will depend on which set you are gonna pair with her. If you are pairing the combination of the Severed Fates and Midnight Veil, then definitely go with the Reminiscence: Threnodian Leviathan. This Echo deals higher DMG to the foes who are already inflicted with Havoc Bane, and also provides the user with 12% Havoc DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus

On the other hand, if you are going with the old Sonata sets, then go with the Fallacy of No Return; it will provide the user with a 10% Energy Bonus and a 10% team-wide Attack buff.

Best weapons for Chisa in Wuthering Waves 2.8

As a Broad Blade user, Chisa has multiple options to choose from, but these two 5-star options are her best choice, and these are:

  • Kumokiri
  • Wildfire Mark

Kumokiri

  • ATK - 500
  • Crit Rate - 36%

This is her signature weapon, and it's the best option for her. It provides Chisa with a 12% ATK bonus, and when she casts her Intro Skill or inflicts Negative Status effects, she gains 8% Resonance Liberation DMG bonus, which can stack for 3 times max.

While max stacks, it can provide the Resonators with a huge 24% All Attribute DMG Bonus for a period of 15 seconds when they successfully deal negative status effects to the nearby foes.

Wildfire Mark

  • ATK - 588
  • Crit DMG - 48.6%

Wildfire Mark is her second-best choice, which is Lupa's signature weapon. This Broad Blade can provide the Resonators with a 12% ATK Bonus, which can boost the overall DMG out of the equipped Resonator. While casting Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation, it can buff up the DMG by 24% for 6 seconds, and if you want to increase the duration, just hit your target with a Heavy ATK.

Another buff that this weapon can provide is the Fusion Damage bonuses, but as of writing this, it is useless, because there is no Resonator of that attribute that deals Negative Status Effects.

Best Resonators to pair with Chisa

Chisa synergises well with units that can deal Negative Status Effect damage, which is why her team is kinda limited for now, and can fully utilise her kit. That is why we have listed down each and every Resonator that pairs well with her.

The Resonator is:

  • Zani
  • Cartethyia
  • Phoebe
  • Ciaccona
  • Spectro Rover

Currently, these are the only units that can fully utilise her kit, but in the upcoming version 3.0, we can expect newer Resonators who will be dealing Negative Status Effects, making Chisa even more versatile.
