Lynae is finally here and is about to make her debut as the playable Resonator in Wuthering Waves 3.0. She is a 5-star Spectro unit, hailing from the region of Lahai-Roi, and a prep student from the widely known Startorch Academy. She will be the second character from this region, and is expected to create some massive changes in the meta with her bold kit.

Wuthering Waves Lynae Build Guide

Lynae is an upcoming 5-star Spectro unit in Wuthering Waves who uses Pistol as her primary weapon, and can be a strong sub-DPS / Buffer unit depending on your personal build. Her entire kit revolves around her Basic Attack DMG, Spark Collision burst, and she can skate her way into fights, dishing stylish combos while recharging her Lumiflow.

As a Sub-DPS, she can deliver strong, steady Spectro DMG with her Basic Attack DMG, especially when she is paired with the Gilded Revelation Sonata Effect set. And as a support unit, she can boost the Outro buffs and Spectro uptime, when paired with the Pact of Neonlight Leap set.

Her kit is quite strong and will make some meta changes, so let's break down those skills in detail, before she makes her debut.

The skills are as follows:

Normal ATK: Chroma Drift

• Basic ATK: You need to hold or press the Normal ATK to perform 3 consecutive ATKs, dealing Spectro DMG.
• Mid-Air ATK: Consumes a decent amount of stamina to perform Plunging ATK, dealing heavy Spectro DMG.
• Dodge Counter: If you press the Normal ATK key, right after a successful Dodge to attack your foe, it will deal Spectro DMG and will be considered as Basic Attack DMG.
• Spark Collision: With full Overflow in the Optical Sampling Stage, press and hold down the Normal Attack to let Lynae enter a charging state. In this state, 15 points of Overflow will be converted to 12.5% of Lumiflow for every 0.2 seconds. During this period, she is immune to interruption and will take 40% less incoming damage.
  When Lynae releases Normal Attack, she will cast the Spark Collision of varying DMG output, which will be based on the ratio of the Lumiflow (a unique mechanism used by Lynae), dealing heavy Spectro DMG, but will be considered as Basic Attack DMG.
  Spark Collision LVL 1: Lumiflow <50%
  Spark Collision LVL 2: 50% <Lumiflow < 100%
  Spark Collision LVL 3: Lumiflow=100%

Kaleidoscopic Parade - Basic Attack

In this mode, Basic Attack gets replaced with Kaleidoscopic Parade, and can perform up to 5 consecutive attacks, which can deal Spectro DMG.

Kaleidoscopic Parade - Ground Heavy Attack

On holding the Normal Attack while in Kaleidoscopic Parade, you get to cast this skill. Although it will consume a lot of stamina when you hit your foes, dealing Spectro DMG, but quite effective.

Kaleidoscopic Parade - Mid-Air Heavy Attack

This will let you deal Spectro DMG while you are in mid-air, and will consume a decent amount of stamina.

Kaleidoscopic Parade - Dodge Counter

Almost the same as the normal Dodge Counter, just in another form.

Resonance Skill: Lynae-Style Palattes

• Lynae-Style Palattes: Press the Resonance Skill button to deal Spectro DMG, and while in Kaleidoscopic Parade, hold down the key to hit the target with heavy Spectro DMG and exit the state. The Lynae-Style Palattes have a heavy cooldown, so make sure you hit them hard.

Resonance Liberation: Prismatic Overblast

The Resonance Liberation skill will deal massive Spectro DMG, and when this skill is triggered, all other nearby Resonators in the squad will deal 24% more DMG for a period of 25 seconds.

Inherent Skill

• Colors Never Fade: After Lynae casts Visual Impact, she leaves behind Spray Paint on the ground, which will inflict Photochromic Flux on foes within a certain radius of the Spray Paint for 5 seconds, and will trigger the targets every 2 seconds.

Intro Skill: Time to Show Some Colors!

This will deal Spectro DMG to the targets while recovering 100 points of Overflow.

Outro Skill: Let's Hit the Road

Outro Skill will hit the target and will deal 100% Spectro DMG, while buffing the next Resonator's All DMG by 15%, and Resonance Liberation DMG by another 25% for a period of 14 seconds or until you swap them out.
