HoYoverse has finally shown the full rundown of Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4 events and rewards during its new livestream. The patch is set to arrive on November 26, 2025, and it brings story continuation, new Agents, Bangboos, and a pretty crowded event schedule.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.4 opens with a new chapter titled “On the Precipice of the Abyss,” which continues the storyline around Ye Shiyuan’s sudden disappearance. He had been sent after Sarah to track down the Creator in the previous chapter from version 2.3, but the situation now seems to be taking a darker turn. At the same time, the chapter introduces Ye Shungguang, his sister from the Yunkui Summit. The livestream hinted that she likely inherited the Qingming sword, once held by Yixuan’s sister.

Signal Search Banner Lineup Confirmed

The first phase, starting November 26, will feature Dialyn, a Physical S-Rank agent focused on Stun, making her first appearance in the game. Her signature W-Engine, Yesterday Calls, is also placed in the W-Engine channel. Hugo is getting a rerun, too, including his own signature W-Engine.

The second phase goes live on December 17. Here, Banyue, the upcoming Fire-element Rupture S-Ran,k will debut with his W-Engine, Wrathful Vajra. At the same time, Ellen will return with her exclusive W-Engine.

Two New Bangboos Join the Lineup

The S-Rank Birkblick, belonging to the Krampus Compliance Authority, will be available through the Bangboo Channel. Meanwhile, A-Rank Bild N. Boolok becomes obtainable completely for free through the flagship event. It also comes with Mindscapes earnable along the way. This will certainly help newer players shape better early-game teams.

Completing these challenges grants Bild N. Boolok, its Mindscapes, Polychromes, level-up items, a title, and even a Hamster Cage Pass. The event is likely to be the most time-consuming part of the update.

Neo Golden Mecha – A Movie-Based Event

In this limited event, Grace drags players into a creative film project where players pilot a golden prototype mecha as Eous, playing the role of Icaro. The challenge involves boosting the mech and clearing tasks inspired by the storyline of the movie. Rewards include Polychromes, a namecard, Dennies, and some agent upgrade materials.

Lightstream Notes – A City Tour With Ye Shungguang

This event is more casual. The player accompanies Ye Shungguang around New Eridu, so she can explore the city beyond her rigid training program. Stores are visited, some minigames played, films watched, and the player helps her document her experiences. Rewards are Polychromes, Boopons, and some personal story entries from her perspective.

100% Miss Bunny – Krampus Authority Tasks

Simulated Sequence Showdown Returns

A familiar mode returns with added challenges. In addition to the Alliance and Frontline stages, a new Martial Practice mode brings into focus Banyue's mechanics that focus on score-based battles. Clearing stages effectively rewards players with Tuning Calibrators, Polychromes, and other upgrade tools.
