Will Cooper Connolly Bowl After Getting Clearance?

It is expected that Cooper Connolly will be bowling after getting clearance from Cricket Australia following medical scans on a pre-existing back injury. He will provide his bowling services to the Punjab Kings in the rest of the tournament and giving depth to the bowling lineup with another option of a spinner.

Due to a back injury sustained prior to the tournament, Connolly was advised not to bowl by the Cricket Australia's medical team, which limits him to a specialist batter role in the first half of the IPL 2026 season.
