England and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowler Brydon Carse is dealing with a hand injury sustained during a practice session, missing the start of the IPL 2026 season. He was hit on his bowling hand while having a batting practice in the nets. He was not part of the IPL 2026 opener against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru as he was supposed to be the frontline pacer for SRH in the absence of Pat Cummins.

However, Brydon Carse IPL debut will be delayed as he has been forced to miss the second encounter as well against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata, due to swelling in his hand, which has hindered his ability to grip the ball. According to SRH coach Daniel Vettori, there is nothing serious in Brydon Carse injury, and soon he will be available to play and will see Brydon Carse SRH journey to begin.

Brydon Carse, right-arm pacer, has been a three-format player for the England Cricket Team. In T20Is, he has played 14 matches and taken 20 odd wickets with a decent bowling average and best bowling figures of 3/23.
However, Brydon Carse has been part of the Sunrisers franchise across the richest cricket leagues in the world, Northern Superchargers (The Hundred), and Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SA20). He is yet to make his debut in the IPL for SRH, where it is expected that he will be performing well.
