The BCCI has issued a warning for the IPL franchises about being honey-trapped during the ongoing season. The board has come up with a total of five crucial pointers that the IPL teams must follow to ensure the league's integrity doesn't get tarnished.

One of the biggest pointers was about remaining vigilant to potential honey-trap cases. Apart from it, there was also a warning for the IPL team owners, who have been advised to avoid communication with the players in the dugout.

According to Cricbuzz, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia issued a seven-page guidelines, and asked all the teams to remain alert about the possible mishappenings. The board also spoke about the inclusion of outsiders withing the PMOA, which has been a big concern this season.

The BCCI, the richest cricket board in the world, has also asked the team owners to maintain distance with the players in the dugouts during the course of the match. It has been noticed several times that the owners have been maintaining contact with the players and the support staff, which won't be allowed now.

Coming to an important part, the board has noticed instances of players being caught vaping. As a result, the BCCI has made it clear that such things are not allowed under Indian laws and won't be tolerated.

The use of vape won't be tolerated during the IPL matches, including the dugouts, dressing rooms or even the team hotels. It is the responsibilty of the team management that such devices remain out of the team premises.
