Kavya Maran Legal Action Against CSK: SRH Owner Takes Big Step
As per the reports, Kavya Maran-owned Sun TV Network Limited has filed a civil suit against CSK in the Madras High Court. They have filed the suit, wanting to restrain Chennai Super Kings Limited from using the songs from Rajinikanth starrer Jailer, Coolie and Jailer 2 in their promos.
The plea for the CSK court case Kavya Maran will be heard by Justice Senthilkumar Ramamurthy on Friday, March 13. The development was confirmed by a journalist Mohamed Imranullah of the Hindu. Taking to his Twitter account, he said:
“Sun TV Network Limited has filed a civil suit in the Madras High Court to restrain Chennai Super Kings Limited from using the songs from Rajinikanth starrer Jailer, Coolie and Jailer 2 in their promos. Justice Senthilkumar Ramamurthy is scheduled to hear the television network's interim injunction plea today.”
CSK are yet to make an official confirmation on the matter, but it is expected that they will also put their case forward and the issue might get escalated. However, it is unlikely to affect the action on the field.
Teams Preparing Hard for IPL 2026
