RCB's star cricketer Virat Kohli is always in the headlines due to his massive popularity around the globe. Kohli, the all-time best batsman in IPL, is in the news once again after a social media influencer revealed a shocking incident related to him.

The famous influencer, LizLaz, said that she was offered money from various journalists to say negative things about Kohli. However, she didn't do things to defame the legendary India cricketer and even called him her "favorite".

LizLaz Offered Money to Defame Virat Kohli

During a conversation with FilmyMantra, the famous German influencer LizLaz made a massive revelation about being offered money to speak wrong things about Virat Kohli and make allegations on him. However, she completely denied the offer.

“I would get so many calls from different magazines. Some people even pushed me to say things I didn’t want to say. Some journalists even offered me money to throw shade at him (Virat Kohli) and make allegations he never made. But why would I do that? I said it myself that he’s my favourite cricketer. So why would I throw shade at him for money? I'm not that kind of person,” LizLaz said.

LizLaz Virat Kohli controversy created headlines when Kohli liked one of her posts through his Instagram account. The incident went viral on social media and Kohli had to take his like back. However, it was enough for the social media influencer to garner attention.

Virat Kohli's Massive Fan Following

Being the most famous cricketer in the world right now, Kohli enjoys a massive fan following. He is also the third most followed athlete on Instagram after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. As a result, there is always a chance of Virat Kohli fake propaganda going around.

This was not the first time that Kohli had liked someone's post unintentionally. He had also liked the post of Indian actress Avneet Kaur before, due to which her no. of followers increased rapidly.

Kohli is currently playing in IPL 2026 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He is in good form with the bat and is also a contender for the IPL Orange Cap this season. RCB will be looking to defend their title this year with Kohli in such fine form.
