Wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant is set for a team change in the IPL once again. Pant, who was the captain of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026, might return to his former team, Delhi Capitals.

Meanwhile, DC left-arm wristspinner Kuldeep Yadav will also be released to play for LSG from IPL 2027. While it is not official from any the franchises, the Rishabh Pant Kuldeep Yadav trade is on the cards.

According to TOI, Rishabh Pant is all set to come back to Delhi Capitals after spending two years with Lucknow Super Giants. The franchise isn't new to Pant as he started his IPL career while playing for them. Over the years, he established himself as one of the best wicketkeepers in IPL.

The reports claim that Kuldeep Yadav Rishabh Pant trade deal could be taking place soon. The spinner currently plays for Delhi Capitals and has been with the team since IPL 2022, when he was signed for INR 13.25 crore.

However, Lucknow Super Giants could be Kuldeep Yadav new IPL team now. It is a surprise to see DC trade Kuldeep as he has been one of the best bowlers in IPL. However, a lacklustre IPL 2026 season might have led to his trade.

The Delhi Capitals team management is set to be controlled by the JSW Group from IPL 2027. JSW and GMR run Delhi Capitals on a 50:50 partnership. Both have a deal to run the franchise for two years before giving the full control to the other for the next cycle.
