Krunal Pandya's 14-Word Statement on Virat Kohli Injury

Five-time IPL champions, Mumbai Indians, were defeated in their home ground by Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Sunday's rivalry week. The visiting team scored 240 runs in the first innings, with contributions from Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, and Rajat Patidar as they smashed half-centuries and helped the team put up a massive target on the board.

Meanwhile, RCB fans didn't get to see Virat on the field yesterday because of an injury. He batted brilliantly, but during fielding Kohli struggled and walked off to the pavilion.

The god of IPL, Virat Kohli, has been with RCB since 2008 and is the only player to have played for one franchise since the start of the Indian Premier League. Currently, he is also on the Orange cap list as the highest run-scorer of the tournament. Hence, Kohli is an integral part of the franchise and has played some cracking knocks in every season.

In this season, if RCB have to play against Kohli, they'll miss out on their best player. While they can shift Devdutt Padikkal up the order to open with Salt and bring in Venkatesh Iyer into the playing XI, without King Kohli, the team will surely lack the most senior member.
