The bowling coach of Delhi Capitals, Munaf Patel, has given a good news for the team's fans. Munaf, the former India fast bowler, has confirmed that Ngidi is fit and ready to be back on the field.

According to PTI, Lungi Ngidi has completed his rest period of six days, which is a part of concussion protocol. Now, he is fit and ready to play in DC's next match against Chennai Super Kings, according to the comment of Munaf Patel on Lungi Ngidi.

Being one of the best T20 bowlers going around, Ngidi's presence will be key to DC's performance. The right-arm fast bowler has been excellent at the death with his brilliant slower balls, which has not allowed the batters to get away.

Ngidi has picked up wickets with the new ball and has been close to unplayable at the death with his dipping slower balls, a skill that he has developed recently.

The DC vs CSK IPL 2026 match will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 5. It will be an important match for both teams who are looking to force their way into the top four teams of the tournament.
