According to the report, H.M. Venkatesh, a Karnataka-based activist, has threatened to file a complaint or FIR regarding this against the RR. He focuses on that his participation violates the Child Labour Laws in India. He should be focusing on his studies rather than being part of an IPL team, which is highlighted after Vaibhav missed his 10th Class board exams, earlier this month. H.M Venkatesh is the same person who filed complaint holding Virat Kohli responsible for the chaos after the IPL 2025 final which led to Stampade.

However, his age has been officially validated by the BCCI's standard TW3 bone density tests, which he has cleared multiple times.
