Harry Kane urged to step up in Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid clash

Bayern Munich legend Holger Badstuber sent a strong message to Harry Kane ahead of the match against Real Madrid. He urged the Englishman to prove that he was a great striker by delivering under pressure.

He was talking to The Mirror on Tuesday when he claimed that Kane needed to prove that he is one of the best in the world. He admitted the impact from the Tottenham star has been great this season so far and said:

“Yes, there is pressure but when you think about great strikers, they perform in these matches. When you want to win the Champions League like Bayern, you need a player like Kane and in both semifinal matches, they will need his goals. That’s why I think he’s very important now and while there’s a lot of pressure on his shoulders, I think he can handle it. I think his impact has been great, especially at the beginning of the season. He quickly integrated into the team and also adapted to the German culture and that’s not as easy as it sounds. But in the second half of the season, I think especially in the big games against Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, his impact was not as big.”

Real Madrid were also interested in signing Harry Kane, however, the striker moved to Bayern Munich instead. Relevo have reported that Carlo Ancelotti wanted the Englishman signed, but club president Florentino Perez blocked the move.
