Erling Haaland on Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold’s comment

Liverpool can talk as much as they want, or Trent Alexander-Arnold can talk as much as he wants… I don’t know why he does that, but I don’t mind,” Haaland on Liverpool while speaking to Sky Sports on Thursday.

Earlier speaking to Four Four Two, Alexander-Arnold took a dig at Manchester City and their model of success. According to him Liverpool’s trophies and fanbase mean a lot than City’s spending which has seen them attract big players and win several honours.

“It’s difficult. You’re up against a machine that’s built to win – that’s the simplest way to describe City and their organization. Looking back on this era, although they’ve won more titles than us and have probably been more successful, our trophies will mean more to us and our fanbase because of the situations at both clubs, financially. How both clubs have built their teams and the manner in which we’ve done it probably means more to our fans.”
