Chelsea vs Everton player ratings as Cole Palmer steals the show

Chelsea managed to pick up all three points by thrashing Everton at home on Monday night. The Blues moved to 9th in the Premier League table with the win, and are now just three behind 6th placed Newcastle United, with a game in hand. 

Cole Palmer scored four goals for his new club, while fellow new signing Nicolas Jackson scored once in the first half. Alfie Gilchrist managed to score his first goal for the club to seal a 6-0 win. Here are Chelsea vs Everton player ratings:-

Chelsea player ratings: 

Đorđe Petrović – 7 – Had to make just two saves in the game and was not troubled much by Everton. 

Malo Gusto – 8 – Was up and down the right flank throughout the game and helped link up the play between Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke. 

Trevoh Chalobah – 7.5 – Another solid outing for the defender, who has cemented his place since returning from injury.

Thiago Silva – 7.5 – He showed his experience when needed and managed to keep the backline on the same page. 

Marc Cucurella – 7 – Got an assist but was getting beaten easily in defence. 

Moisés Caicedo – 9 – The record signing produces yet another stunning performance. He even had a go at goal today, but the shot was wide. 

Conor Gallagher – 8.5 – The Chelsea captain was on top of his game and was not allowing Everton players a moment on the ball. 

Noni Madueke – 7 – Failed to get a goal or an assist, but it was easily one of his best performances for Chelsea. 

Cole Palmer – 10 – Four goals, including a first-half hattrick. What more can you as for from the new signing?

Mykhaylo Mudryk – 6.5 – Was giving away the ball way too easily in the second half and should have done a lot better. Was decent in attack and created two good chances. 

Nicolas Jackson – 8 – Another match in which Chelsea fans will be left wondering if they need a new striker in the summer. His movement was spot-on and gave his teammates spaces to attack.

Carney Chukwuemeka – 7 – Did his job after coming on for Madueke in the 72nd minute and kept the game flowing. 

Ben Chilwell – 7 – Played just over 10 minutes but still managed a shot on target, which eventually turned out to be an assist for Alfie Gilchrist.

Cesare Casadei – 7 – Slotted in perfectly for Palmer and saw the game through in the final 10 minutes.

Alfie Gilchrist – 8 – Scored his first goal for the club and stunned everyone, including himself.

Deivid Washington – 6 – Hardly made an impact after coming on in the final minutes for Nicolas Jackson. 

Everton Player Ratings:

Jordan Pickford – 5 – Made a couple of saves, but was unable to do much against Cole Palmer. 

Séamus Coleman – 6 – Was hooked off in the first half in which he could have had an assist but the ball bounced off Beto over the bar when the game was goalless. 

James Tarkowski – 5 – Lucky to have finished the game as he was on a booking when he slammed his elbow into Noni Madueke. The referee missed it as he was awarding a penalty for the foul on Palmer. 

Jarrad Branthwaite – 5 – Was getting nutmegged by Palmer constantly and was taken off because of an injury before the hour mark.

Vitaliy Mykolenko – 5 – Madueke and Gusto were running rings around him today. 

Ashley Young – 6 – Decent game but he hardly got any support in attack or defence. 

Amadou Onana – 5 – Was taken off at half-time as Caicedo and Gallagher were getting past him with ease. 

James Garner – 6 – Another Everton midfielder who was taken off at halftime following an ineffective performance. 

Dwight McNeil – 6.5 – Pick of the Everton players today as he wanted to get them back into the game, but to no avail. 

Abdoulaye Doucouré – 6 – Gave away the penalty to make it 5-0 for Chelsea, and was missing throughout the game otherwise. 

Beto – 6.5 – Missed the golden chance at the start of the game but scored once, sadly it was chalked off as he was offside. 

Nathan Patterson – 6.5 – Did his job after coming on at the break but was taken off in the final minutes due to an injury. 

Andre Gomes – 6.5 – Did much better than Onana and Garner, but could not get his side back in the game.

Jack Harrison – 6 – Fresh legs could not hurt Gusto as the Frenchman had everyone in his pocket. 

Michael Keane – 5.5 – Came on for Branthwaite but found it hard to manage Jackson and Palmer. 

Ben Godfrey – 5 – Came on for the final few seconds when it was already 6-0.
