Cristiano Ronaldo fires Al-Nassr into the finals of the King Cup of Champions

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a terrific brace for Al-Nassr as it propelled his side to a win over Al-Khaleej in the King Cup of Champions semi-final. Al-Nassr will now face Al-Hilal in the final of the competition. Al-Hilal earlier defeated Al-Ittihad to reach the finals. In addition to CR7’s two goals, Sadio Mane also scored a penalty in the 37th minute of the game for Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo’s teammate Aymeric Laporte penned a cryptic story message for him after the veteran’s celebration during one of his goals scored against Al-Khaleej. Inserting a picture of CR7 with both of his hands placed crossed each other, Laporte reportedly wrote – “A little more & you’ll manage it”. The Spanish defender himself had a pretty decent game for Al-Nassr in the semi-final clash against Al-Khaleej.

After his recent brace, Cristiano Ronaldo has now 44 goals to his name across his 45 appearances in the ongoing top-flight season. However, the legendary number seven would have his eyes set on the King Cup of Champions title now after his side defeated Al-Khaleej by a scoreline of 3-1 on the night. The Portuguese earlier led his side to the Arab Club Champions Cup title in 2023 and he will be looking to add to his trophy tally with the Saudi Pro League club.
