Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona – Salary: €22.44m

Like Alaba, Robert Lewandowski is another player who made his switch from Germany and particularly from Bayern Munich to hit the ground running. The Polish striker nets €22.44 million for a year and is the highest-paid player in the Barcelona ranks. He too has proved his worth for the Spanish giants and helped them end their four-year wait for a La Liga title in the 2022-23 season. Vinicius Jr, Real Madrid – Salary: €20.04m

Most likely to be the third or fourth highest-paid player next season with Kylian Mbappe’s possible arrival, Vinicius Jr for now remains the second-highest paid player in the Real Madrid squad after David Alaba. Pocketing a salary of €20.04 million, Vinicius has been the perfect replacement for Real since the departure of Gareth Bale and won multiple honours with the Spanish giants.

Another player on the Real Madrid books netting over €20 million in salary is English Jude Bellingham.
