Playing in a no-contact training session on Tuesday, Haaland apparently suffered an injury which saw fears among the ranks of Manchester City supporters. The video surfacing on the internet, saw the Man City man being closely monitored by the medical staff after he was in discomfort. While the extent of the injury was unknown at the initial phase, team doctors have now come out and stated that Haaland’s injury is “no problem” and will continue to remain with the side.

Manchester City have a tough run in all competitions in the next two months starting with Arsenal’s visit to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (Mar 31). City are also destined to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals while a win for them will see them face Arsenal or Bayern Munich over two legs in the semifinals of the same competition.

Adding to that run will be the FA Cup semifinal against Chelsea and a potential final against arch-rivals Manchester United. Considering the challenging phase of fixtures, City will need Haaland for the big games as they look to secure the treble.

Due to a foot issue, Haaland missed 12 games for Manchester City in December and January of this year’s campaign. The striker was sidelined for both of City’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign and important a few Premier League fixtures.
