Roberto Firmino Affirms Commitment to Al Ahli Amidst Chelsea Transfer Speculations

In a surprising turn of events, Chelsea’s pursuit of Roberto Firmino has hit a roadblock as the Brazilian striker is adamant about staying with Al Ahli during this January transfer window, according to renowned transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues, under the ownership of Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, have been linked with a shock move for Firmino, seeking experienced reinforcements upfront. Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is currently facing a shortage of attacking options, prompting interest in the former Liverpool star.

Firmino to Stay in Saudi Pro League This Season

Despite Chelsea’s reported interest and the potential need for a quick fix in their striking department, Firmino’s camp has communicated unequivocally that the player has no intentions of departing from Al Ahli this January.
