Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool could reunite in the future as the German coach vows to help

Jurgen Klopp will have his last game as a Liverpool manager this Sunday against Wolverhampton. The German has spent almost nine years with the club, after arriving to replace Brendan Rodgers back in 2015. During his reign, the only trophy Liverpool could not win was the Europa League

In his pre-match press conference prior to the Sunday game, Klopp said that he has no unfinished business with the Anfield-based side. However, he admitted that it is not easy to get over the city of Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool is a thing of love

“I don’t think, I don’t imagine that the club will need my help in the future but if the city needs me, I’m there,” Klopp said via the club’s website. “That’s how it is. I want to be helpful in whatever way and we will see how that looks.”

Liverpool’s dream of clinching four titles in a single season was once again shattered. It has all gone south since Klopp announced his departure in January. The peak was when Liverpool lost the FA Cup quarter final to the archrival Manchester United.

Since then, whether it was in the league or in the Europa League, Liverpool seemed to throw the towel and shockingly lost games after games. The only trophy they managed to win was the Carabao Cup after beating Chelsea in the final.
