Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho reportedly ‘dreams’ of Real Madrid transfer

Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho reportedly has Real Madrid transfer in sight. According to TyC Sports, the Spaniard even ‘dreams’ of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, and may even meet Los Blancos president Florentino Perez soon.

Garnacho has been a revelation for the Whites this season, shining for the United even as the club went through the motions. His performances have certainly caught attention from the big sides and now, he might as well be on the move to one such team this summer.

Although he’s currently happy in Manchester and doesn’t seek a move just yet, TyC Sports revealed that he dreams of joining Real Madrid someday. Perez, the Real Madrid chief, is also supposedly an admirer of his, and is eager to meet him soon as Real Madrid visit Manchester next month to face City in the Champions League quarter-finals.

If the meeting indeed happens, rumors of a move to Real Madrid will gain substance, and the transfer might as well materialize when the summer window comes around. Los Blancos don’t have a natural striker at the moment, refusing to sign one even after Karim Benzema’s departure last summer. Garnacho’s arrival will be a huge boost of their attacking department, which has already impressed this season.

The 19-year-old is currently with Argentina’s national side in the United States, where the World Cup holders are set to play El Salvador and Costa Rica in a pair of friendly games over the upcoming week.
