Sources suggest that Edwards is prepared to greenlight Salah’s departure if the player expresses a desire to leave Merseyside. The Saudi Pro League is reportedly confident in securing a deal to bring the former Chelsea forward to the Middle East.

Who can Liverpool Bring in as Salah’s Replacement?

In a strategic move, Liverpool has already identified potential replacements for Salah should his departure materialize.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Pedro Neto are among the targets earmarked by the club. However, acquiring these talents won’t come without a hefty price tag.

Reports indicate that Wirtz boasts a release clause in the vicinity of £111 million while Neto’s valuation stands at approximately £80 million.

Meanwhile, Williams the standout performer in Bilbao’s recent Copa Del Rey triumph is said to have a buyout clause worth £43 million.

Despite Liverpool’s interest competition for these coveted players is expected to be fierce with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Chelsea also reportedly eyeing Salah’s potential successors.
