Miroslav Klose to Bayern Munich? German legend could become assistant coach to Hansi Flick if he returns to Bayern Munich

Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is expected to make a surprise return to the German capital next summer. The Bavarians have reportedly opened talks with the former German manager who managed the club for two years between 2019 and 2021.

Back in February, it was announced that Tuchel would depart the Allianz Arena at the end of this season after only being appointed last summer.

Hansi Flick who won the treble with Bayern Munich back in 2021 has been out of work since being fired as the German boss back in 2023. He was linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer until Xavi prolonged his stay at Camp Nou.

The 59-year-old manager will be tasked with retaining their Bundesliga crown after they lost it this season to Bayer Leverkusen. Flick has won 70 of his 86 games in charge of the Bavarians during his spell as manager.

Miroslav Klose to Bayern Munich?

Legendary German striker and World Cup’s record goalscorer Miroslav Klose had an impressive career at Bayern Munich and is one of the most clinical strikers Germany has produced.

He has led Germany to World Cup glory in 2014 and went on to score a total of 71 goals in 137 games for the national team. Klose later returned to Bayern as a youth coach and as an assistant to the first team.

Klose also worked as an assistant coach with Hansi Flick during his spell as the German manager. Klose could be reintegrated to the coaching team if Flick returns to Bayern this summer.
