NY Red Bulls vs Inter Miami Player Ratings as Lewis Morgan’s hat-trick dismantles Lionel Messi-less visitors

NY Red Bulls vs Inter Miami Match Summary

NY Red Bulls vs Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer (MLS) ended in a comfortable 4-0 victory for the hosts at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison.

Lewis Morgan gave the Red Bulls the perfect start with a goal in the third minute. Strike partner Dante Vanzeir provided the assist for the goal after an electric start to the game. However, Inter Miami fought back by keeping the ball for the majority of the time after that. They attempted four shots in the first period, with two on target. However, they were unable to get past Ryan Meara in the hosts’ goal.

New York attempted just one other shot on target apart from their goal and did not bother CJ dos Santos in Miami’s goal. However, they still carried a slender one-goal lead into half-time.

Morgan gave the Red Bulls the perfect start to the second half as well, scoring just five minutes after the restart to make it 2-0. Vanzeir provided the assist for this goal as well after a lovely move. Wikelman Carmona then made it 3-0 just 15 minutes later as Vanzeir made it a hat-trick of assists. Morgan then grabbed his hat-trick in the 70th minute, with the goal assisted by Vanzeir yet again.

New York did well to shut up shop and prevent Inter Miami from grabbing a consolation goal as they won 4-0. With that said, let’s take a look at the player ratings for both teams.
