Premier League Player Ratings After Gameweek 13

Gameweek 13 of the Premier League saw some great clashes between top teams. Manchester City took on Liverpool at the Etihad in a top-of-the-table clash, while Newcastle United took on Chelsea at St. James Park. Here are the Player ratings from the top fixtures following Gameweek 13.

Manchester City vs Liverpool Players Ratings

Pep Guardiola Manchester City went toe to toe against Jurgen Klopp’s rejuvenated Liverpool in the first game of Gameweek 13 at the Etihad Stadium. Neither team could take the three points as the game resulted in a 1-1 draw with goals coming from Erling Haaland and Trent-Alexander Arnold respectively. Another top performer from the game was Jeremy Doku who was a constant threat for the Liverpool defence.

Arsenal vs Brentford Players Ratings

Arsenal are the new table toppers after their win against Brentford in Gameweek 13, thanks to a dramatic winner by Kai Havertz in the 89th minute of the game after coming on as a sub for the final few minutes. There were some solid performances at the back from Mikel Arteta’s men, resulting in three important points

Manchester United vs Everton Players Ratings

Manchester United displayed a very impressive performance with a 3-0 win against Everton away at Goodison Park. The deadlock was broken by Garnacho’s outrageous 

finish in the 3rd minute of the game, followed by two goals by Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the second half. Kobbie Mainoo’s sensational Premier League debut was another positive takeaway from the game for the Red Devils’ fans.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Nottm Forest Player Ratings

Brighton had quite an eventful night away at Nottingham’s Forest. Thanks to goals from Evan Ferguson and Joao Pedro, the Seagulls were successful in bringing all three points home with an impressive 3-2 win. De Zerbi’s men now stand at the 8th position in the league table.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspurs Players Ratings

Aston Villa’s brilliant run in the Premier League this season continues as they defeated Tottenham Hotspurs in their own backyard. Goals from Pau Torres at the end of the first half drew Villa level, canceling Lo Celso’s opener in the 22nd minute, while Ollie Watkins’s goal in the 61st minute proved to be the winner resulting in a 2-1 win for Birmingham club.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace Players Ratings

Fulham took on Wolves at home in one of the games of the season. Willian’s 94th-minute penalty proved to be the winner for Marco Silva and co at the Craven Cottage. Fulham are now 14th in the table tied with Crystal Palace and Wolves at 15 points each.

Newcastle United Players Ratings

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United were once again at their very best even after injury woes in the team. This time, it was Mauricio Pochettino’s men at the receiving end who were thrashed 4-1 by the Magpies at St. James’ Park.

Alexander Isak’s opener was canceled out by a Raheem Sterling goal in the first half. In the second half, goals from Lascelles, Joelinton, and Anthony Gordon finished off the game with another memorable night for Newcastle fans.
