Manager Roberto de Zerbi recently spoke about his desire to continue at English club Brighton & Hove Albion despite interest from Bayern Munich.

Roberto de Zerbi has enjoyed a successful stint at Brighton and Hove Albion since his shift to the English Premier League from Shakhtar Donetsk. Yet, recent rumors regarding his future have put Brighton and Hove Albion fans on the edge as many have predicted the talented manager’s future away from the club and even at the helm of Bayern Munich.

However, putting the rumors to rest, Brighton manager de Zerbi recently spoke on his future and said, “I think I would like to stay at Brighton because I love my players. I love this city. I love my club, my supporters. I said during this exchange with the supporters that if I was happy, no club could persuade me to change teams, but I want to keep this passion intact, always.”

The statement of Roberto de Zerbi has certainly reduced the discomfort of Brighton fans and have in a way assured the manager’s future at the English club for at least another season despite Bayern Munich’s interest.
