Revealed! UEFA Champions League Semi final schedule out!

After the completion of the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, UEFA held the quarter-final and Champions League semi final draw on Friday. Here is the Champions League semi final schedule with fixtures!

Champions League semi final schedule: Who will face who?

The UEFA Champions League for the quarter final and semi final draw saw eight sides enter an open draw to find out their rivals. The eight sides are FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, BVB Dortmund, Man City, Arsenal and PSG. Before the draw, it was announced that the winning team from the second quarter final will face the winner of the fourth quarter final in the Champions League semi final schedule. Meanwhile, the winner of the first quarter final will face the winner of the third quarter final in the UEFA Champions League semi final schedule. 

With the draw now completed we have an idea of who will face who in the quarter finals and in the semis finals as well as the Champions League semi final schedule. 

Champions League Quarter final schedule and fixtures:

Quarter final Fixtures:

The draw revealed that English Premier League side Arsenal will face the reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the first quarterfinal. Both sides will be pleased by the draw considering their strengths. In the second quarter final, Spanish titans Atletico Madrid will face BVB Dortmund. While Dortmund made it into the quarter final on the back of a win against PSV in the round of 16, Atletico Madrid won against last year’s finalists Inter Milan in the round of 16. The tie will be exciting as many consider the two sides to be the weakest in the remaining eight clubs. 

The third quarter final has drawn the most attention by far as reigning Champions League winners Man City take on the 14 time UCL winners Real Madrid. The ties between the two clubs in the UCL in recent years have been sensational and fans will expect more of the same. In the final quarterfinal, Kylian Mbappe’s PSG will take on FC Barcelona who have returned to the quarter final of the UCL after three long years.

First Leg: (9/10 April)

QF1: Arsenal vs Bayern Munich

QF2: Atletico Madrid vs BVB Dortmund

QF3: Man City vs Real Madrid

QF4: PSG vs FC Barcelona

The second leg will be held on April 16 and 17 with the home side from the first leg playing away in the second leg. All ties will kick-off at 21:00 CET.

The winner of QF1 will play the winner of QF3, while the winner of QF2 will play the winner of QF4.

Champions League Semi Final Schedule:

First Leg (April 30/ May 1)

SF1: Arsenal/Bayern Munich vs Man City/Real Madrid

SF2: Atletico Madrid/BVB Dortmund vs PSG/FC Barcelona

The second leg will be held on May 7 and 8 with the home side from the first leg playing away in the second leg. All ties will kick-off at 21:00 CET.
