In the last college basketball season, Van Lith led the TCU Horned Frogs to their first Sweet 16 appearance in March Madness and averaged a whopping 17.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists, shooting 45.2% from the field.

The Los Angeles Sparks were the most likely candidates up until now to get Van Lith this year. Furthermore, after the Sparks made a blockbuster trade for Kelsey Plum, they seem more than eager to get a franchise point guard in Van Lith.

The first being Cameron Brink returning healthy and back to her form this season and the second if Rickea Jackson continues improving as the team's second-best scorer. Perhaps, the Mystics could use one of these picks to pick the 5'9" guard to add to their roster.
