#1 Dallas Wings - Paige Bueckers [Guard, UConn]

For the longest time, it was clear that Dallas Wings was going to land Paige Bueckers as the first overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Bueckers is the top rated prospect of this year, averaging 19.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists while shooting 54.2% from the floor in the NCAA Tournament.
Bueckers has always been a player her team can count on. Her arrival to Dallas could definitely turn around the team's fate, given the Wings had an abysmal 9-31 record in the previous season. With Bueckers as a starter, the Wings could perhaps even emerge as a legitimate contender in the league.
#2 Seattle Storm - Olivia Miles [Guard, Notre Dame]

The Seattle Storm acquired the second pick after a three-way trade that led to Jewell Loyd departing from the franchise. However, the Storm is expected to utilize this pick to choose Olivia Miles, who could be a great replacement for Loyd on the backcourt.
She led the Fighting Irish as the top-ranked team in the ACC and has reached the Sweet 16 stage in March Madness. However, despite being projected as the second overall pick, Miles is entering the transfer portal, perhaps insinuating she would remain in college for an extra year of eligibility.

#3 Washington Mystics - Kiki Irafen [Forward, USC]

The Washington Mystics have three of the top six picks in the 2025 WNBA draft, which they are willing to utilize on the best of prospects. Kiki Irafen gained notice of the scouts after displaying her valuable clutch skills and leadership qualities for USC.
After JuJu Watkins' injury in the NCAA Tournament, Irafen led the USC Trojans to a second round victory, scoring a season-high 36-point outing. Though the USC got knocked out by UConn in Elite 8, Irafen's draft stock has significantly increased with her performance during March Madness.
#4 Washington Mystics - Sonia Citron [Guard, Notre Dame]

Sonia Citron is another Notre Dame guard that finds her mention among top draft prospects this year. This season, Citron was selected to first-team All-ACC and was also part of the ACC's all-defensive team. With Notre Dame's established history of producing league-ready, guards, Citron could be a valuable addition to the Mystics' backcourt.
This season, Citron is averaging 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. If both Kiki Irafen and Sonia Citron get selected by the Mystics, it could form an elite backcourt duo dominating the floor in the league next season.

#5 Golden State Valkyries - Dominique Malonga [Center, France]

France has been producing some of the best basketball talents since the past couple of years. In the NBA, the most hyped prospect since LeBron James was Victor Wembanyama, a French hooper. Dominique Malonga is another breakout star from France, who played for the national team in the Olympics last summer. The league's newest team, the Golden State Valkyries, might use the fifth pick to select Dominique Malonga for their frontcourt.
Malonga's playing style has drawn her comparisons to 2023 WNBA Finals MVP Jonquel Jones. As a 19-year old teenager, Malonga is eligible for getting drafted as she will be turning 20 this year. As much as it is known from her agent, Malonga is willing to get drafted and intends to play in the WNBA from this season onwards.
#6 Washington Mystics - Shyanne Sellers [Guard, Maryland]

Shyanne Sellers is a versatile guard that the Mystics can utilize to form an elite backcourt combination. Known to be an impact player, Sellers is averaging 14.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists so far while shooting 41.3% from the three-point line in college.
Sellers so far has proven her capabilities by leading Maryland to a second-round victory against Alabama in the NCAA Tournament. With 28 points and hitting all her 9 free-throws, Sellers showed that she could be trusted by her team in high-pressure situations. This makes her exactly the kind of fit the Mystics need with their new coaching and management staff.

#7 Connecticut Sun - Aneesah Morrow [Forward, LSU]

Aneesah Morrow can be utilized as an ideal big for the Sun with the seventh-pick. As a forward for the LSU Tigers, Morrow leads Division I in rebounding, averaging 13.5 rebounds per game. She also leads Division I in double-doubles (29) while averaging 18.5 points per game.
Morrow isn't a great shooter from the three-point line, which in fact is not as much of a concern. Perhaps, she could evolve into a post-up player or someone inside the paint, a player archetype that the Sun could definitely benefit from in the league.
#8 Connecticut Sun - Ajsa Sivka [Forward, Slovenia]

The Connecticut Sun are currently in rebuild, looking to utilize the best out of the 2025 WNBA draft. One of the breakout stars for them to draft is Ajsa Sivka, who is draft eligible similar to Dominique Malonga.
As a 6'3" forward, Sivka looks capable enough to combine her size and rebounding abilities to add to Sun's backcourt. Though Sivka is currently 19, she would turn 20 this year in November and can be eligible to play this season in the WNBA.

#9 Los Angeles Sparks - Hailey Van Lith [Guard, TCU]

Hailey Van Lith is perhaps one of the best breakout stars in this season of college basketball. Not only has she risen to the moment for her team in the NCAA Tournament, she was consistent throughout the season this year. Van Lith is averaging 17.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.5 assists this season and helped TCU reach their first Sweet 16.
As a player, Van Lith suits best for pick-and-roll plays which could translate well if she shares the floor as a LA Sparks player. Her mentality has impressed many WNBA scouts, which definitely makes up for concerns about her defense. Van Lith was particularly in the limelight after her successes in LSU, Louisville and now in TCU. She has also won a bronze medal in 3x3 women's basketball in Paris Olympics.
#10 Chicago Sky - Georgia Amoore [Guard, Kentucky]

Georgia Amoore combines with her basketball IQ and court-presence for what she lacks in size. The Kentucky guard was well noticed by the WNBA scouts when she led her previous school (Virginia Tech) to it's first Final Four appearance in 2023. Though she could not lead Kentucky past the second round this season, her clutch abilities could be well utilized by Chicago Sky in the WNBA.
Amoore averaged 19.6 points and 6.9 assists this season, averaging an SEC-high 36.7 minutes per game. Perhaps, landing in Chicago could get her some great frontcourt mentorship from veteran Courtney Vandersloot, who is much of a glue player for the Sky's roster at the moment.
