WPL Winners List (2023-25)

The WPL trophy winners list includes two top franchises of the tournament across its first three completed seasons. The inaugural 2023 final saw the Mumbai Indians Women set the benchmark by defeating the Delhi Capitals Women by seven wickets at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

In 2024, the tournament had a new champion as Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women won their maiden title and got added to the WPL cup winners list with an eight-wicket victory over the same Delhi side at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, which is among the smallest cricket stadiums in India. The 2025 season once again belonged to the Mumbai Indians Women, who reclaimed the title with an eight-run win against the Delhi Capitals Women. DC-W have been the unluckiest side, losing three consecutive finals.

During the WPL 2026 season, the title race appears more competitive than ever, with multiple franchises showing a genuine chance to clinch the WPL trophy based on current form.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have emerged as the front-runners because of their all-round performance throughout the season, making them strong contenders to add a second title. Mumbai Indians Women, the most successful team in WPL history, remain in the hunt as defending champions, and it seems that the title race will once again end up between these two franchises.

Mumbai Indians Women | 2023 & 2025 Winner

Mumbai Indians Women have been the standout franchise of the Women’s Premier League, capturing the title twice within the first three seasons and setting a benchmark for consistency. Their journey began in 2023, when Harmanpreet Kaur, led from the front in the inaugural edition, taking MI Women to a seven-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals Women in the final.

The run chase was anchored by Nat Sciver-Brunt’s unbeaten 60, which earned her the Player of the Match award, while Hayley Matthews, who is among the best all-rounders in WPL, finished as Player of the Tournament and Purple Cap holder for most wickets.

The franchise achieved similar success in 2025, becoming the first team to secure multiple WPL titles. In another high-pressure final against Delhi Capitals Women, MI defended 149/7 to clinch an eight-run win.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women | 2024 Winner

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women scripted a landmark moment in their history by lifting the 2024 Women’s Premier League title. Under the leadership of Smriti Mandhana, RCB-W peaked at the right time in the final against Delhi Capitals Women at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Delhi were dismissed for just 113, with the spin attack led by Shreyanka Patil and Sophie Molineux.

Ellyse Perry’s unbeaten 35 led to a successful run chase, while Mandhana, Sophie Devine, and Richa Ghosh played a steady innings. RCB crossed the line with eight wickets in hand in 19.3 overs, convincingly sealing their maiden WPL crown.
