India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya made a comeback on the cricket field after recovering from an injury. He featured in some of the matches of the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy playing for Baroda and displayed some tremendous knocks as well.

The star cricketer, who is one of the best all-rounders in the world, has now joined India's squad for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa, starting on December 9, with the first match to be played in Cuttack. Baroda clashed against Services in the round 7 match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, but it was young Amit Pasi who stole the limelight in the entire match. The Baroda opener created history by becoming only the third batter to smash a century in the debut match of the tournament. Apart from that, he also became the batter to register the highest individual score in a debut match in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Pasi played a magnificent knock of 114 runs off just 55 balls, featuring 10 fours and nine sixes, showcasing his power and destructive batting skills. With the IPL auction to be held on December 16, there couldn't be a better time for him to produce this kind of knock. There are high chances of him getting picked by some of the best IPL teams that are looking for young and fresh talent.

While talking globally, Pasi equalled the world record created by Pakistan's Bilal Asif playing for Sialkot Stallions back in 2015. He created the record by smashing 114 runs off just 48 balls, including eight fours and 10 sixes. The youngster has all the traits to become one of the most dangerous batsmen in the world.

Pasi's 114-run knock was the reason why Baroda managed to win the match against Services. On the back of Pasi's knock, his team scored 220 runs in the first innings of the Baroda vs Services match.

Meanwhile, Services responded surprisingly well and almost chased the target, but just fell short by 13 runs of the target. Only if they'd gotten Pasi dismissed early in the innings, the result would've been different.
