Australia’s Win Over England Changes WTC Points Table, India Move to THIS Position

Australia registered a magnificent victory over arch-rivals England during the first Test of The Ashes 2025-26 at Optus Stadium, Perth. It seemed like England were on a mission after the first innings of both teams as the tourists took a crucial 40-run lead.

However, the home team came back strongly with a spirited bowling performance. Australia bowled England out for just 164 runs in their second innings. In reply, they chased down the total with eight wickets in hand on the back of Travis Head's brilliant knock. During this knock, Head established his credentials as one of the best openers in the world right now.

The AUS vs ENG 1st Test started with 19 wickets on the first day. The pitch in Perth Stadium turned out to be a spicy one with batters from both teams finding it difficult to get going.
