Australia Women Highest ODI Total

The Indian Women's Cricket Team and the Australian Women's Cricket Team are crossing swords with each other in the third match of the three-match series. The match between the two heavyweights is underway at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on September 20, 2025 (Saturday). After the two exciting games in the series, the Australian Cricket Team ensured that they brought their best with the bat in the series decider, the third ODI.

The Australian side came up with a brutal batting effort, making a mockery of the Indian bowlers in their own backyard. When it mattered the most in the series, the Australian Women's Cricket Team brought their best, and not only did they slam Indian bowlers all over the park, but they also hampered their confidence, before the all-important ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

Australia Women's Equal Record of Their Highest Total In ODI

Australian women have scripted history in ODI cricket. The Alyssa Healy-led side achieved their joint-highest ever total in the 50-over format in Women’s cricket. They equalled their own score of 412, which they achieved against Denmark Women during an ODI in 1997 in Mumbai. Australia women won the toss and opted to bat first against India. They had a sensational start with the bat, with skipper Alyssa Healy (30) and Georgia Voll (81) adding 43 runs for the opening stand.

After the captain was back, Ellyse Perry (68) joined Voll and the duo together put bowlers under pressure. They added 107 runs for the second wicket before Beth Mooney entered the field. She oozed her class with the bat and came up with one of their best innings in the format. Mooney looked in solid touch right from the start, becoming one of the Women Cricketers with the fastest centuries in ODI, and made Indian bowlers look clueless.

She slammed a sensational century and ended with an innings of 138 runs off 75 balls. Mooney batted with a strike rate of 184, slamming 23 boundaries and one six. She got support from Ashleigh Gardner, who slammed 39 runs, as the duo piled up 82 runs for the fourth wicket. Although Indian players took wickets in the end, the lower order also contributed and took the Australian team to their joint highest ever total in the WODs. Alana King (12) hit some boundaries in the end as Australia ended with a total of 412 runs in the third game against India.

India Women Concede 400+ Total for the First Time in the Women’s ODI Cricket

It was a day to remember for the Australian side, smashing 412 runs in the first innings against India. This was the first time in history that India ended up giving 400+ runs in the ODIs in Women’s cricket. The previous highest total that India conceded in women’s ODIs also came against Australia in 2024, where they posted 371/8 as the Indian bowlers had a terrible outing during that game as well. This score will be a great confidence booster for them going into the World Cup, where the best cricket teams in the world will compete.
