An unidentified woman from Karnataka has lodged a complaint at the Mogra Police Station in Hooghly regarding Abishek Porel rape allegation, stating that he engaged in a sexual relationship with her under the false promise of marriage and subjected her to assault and criminal intimidation. According to TOI, Abishek Porel has been produced before the Chinsurah court, where his bail plea was rejected, and he has been remanded to three days of police custody.
