The Delhi Premier League auction purse for each team is INR 2.5 crore. The retention amounts have been already deducted and all the franchises will bring the remaining amount at the auction, which features some of the best batsmen in India.

The players have been divided into four cartegories on the basis of their experience and achievements. The marquee category consists of India A players who have been a part of any IPL squad over the last three seasons.
