The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is set to be played from February 7 to March 8 in India and Sri Lanka. With the main event approaching, the warm-up fixtures for the participating nations have been announced. The International Cricket Council has confirmed a packed warm-up window from February 2 to February 6, giving teams limited but important match time before the tournament begins.

These matches will be played across some of the best cricket stadiums in the world at Bengaluru, Navi Mumbai, Colombo, and Chennai. All the games in Bengaluru will take place at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence.

The warm-up phase will be a great opportunity for all teams to adjust and test their best combinations before the points table starts to take shape. For defending champions India, it will be a chance to fine-tune their preparations, which makes these fixtures important ahead of their T20 World Cup 2026 opener against the USA.

The ICC T20 World Cup Warm-Up matches will be played over five days and will feature multiple double and triple headers. Several teams will play more than once, while some will get only one chance to hone their skills before picking up their playing 11 for their first match of the tournament. India's T20 World Cup 2026 Warm-Up Matches

Team India, one of the best T20 teams in the world, will have a short preparation window for this tournament. India warm up match T20 World Cup will be played against South Africa on February 4 in Navi Mumbai. It will be their only warm-up game before the main event begins on February 7 when they face USA in their opening fixture.

However, India A team will feature in two practice matches in this tournament, against USA and Namibia. These matches will be played on February 2 and 4 in Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru respectively.
